Reflecting on Impact

This report offers a qualitative exploration of impact told from the unique perspectives of those at the heart of changemaking.

It’s intended as a supplement to our ongoing Annual Reports, with a stronger focus on openly sharing what we—and the changemakers we partner with— are seeing. The good and the challenging. The format will evolve but our hope is that these insights inform others on their own sustainability journey, while enabling Forum to deepen the difference it makes.

In this impact report you’ll explore our theory of change and the unique blend of five "practices" guiding everything we do. And, most importantly, you'll hear from the changemakers on the frontlines of three groundbreaking projects: Growing our Future, the Responsible Energy Initiative and the Climate & Health Coalition.

Each story hones in on the three outcomes Forum believes illustrate our impact:

influencing what changemakers think, feel and do;
unlocking broader organisational action;
and supporting wider change on a large scale.

Working as and alongside changemakers to influence deep and urgent transitions in food, energy and business is why we exist. To that end, we hope you find valuable lessons in the stories we’ve highlighted.
