Programme Communications Manager, Energy Transition (Philippines)

Background

I work at the intersection of strategic communications and public affairs across energy, tech, governance, and social development sectors. I forge coalitions, shape narratives, and design conditions for more informed decision-making, whether advising brands on messaging strategy, convening multi-stakeholder forums, or bridging civil society and institutional power.

At ALPAS Consultancy, I lead the Policy and Advocacy arm and built a government relations unit that became the agency's top-performing team. At Forum for the Future, I focus on translating complex energy transition work into stories that move people and partnerships.

I also hold governance roles locally, nationally, and internationally through the YMCA and Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

My dream project

To bring organized youth programs to those who need them most: young people excluded due to trauma, poverty, exploitation, or legal conflict. I want to close the gap between existing volunteer networks, LGUs, and government agencies, and open the coordination channels and funding pathways that actually move resources to where they're needed.

What floats my boat outside work?

I surf, read, and travel whenever I can. Films, theatre, and side quests like rhythm boxing and surfskate round it out. And through all of it, volunteering. (edited)
