Digital Marketing and Communications Executive

Background

I am a communications and storytelling professional with seven years of experience working at the intersection of development, livelihoods, and social impact across India. My work focuses on building holistic communication experiences that bring visibility to people, processes, and progress within community-led programmes, while bridging grassroots realities with larger systems.

I have worked with mission-driven organisations to shape end-to-end communication across films, case studies, campaigns, and digital platforms. My work includes documenting the journeys of individuals and communities navigating change, designing structured communication processes, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring coherence across formats and channels.

My dream project

I am drawn to the idea of a small, intentional community of practitioners who come together to think, unlearn, and rebuild ideas around storytelling and social development. A space that moves away from polished narratives and creates room for reflection, experimentation, and honest conversations around what works, what doesn’t, and why.

At its core, it would bring together diverse perspectives to explore new ways of documenting lived experiences, resilience, and the values that shape people’s journeys, while rethinking how we understand and communicate impact.

What floats my boat outside work?

I love reading, especially fiction, and have been trying to learn more about Indian classical music. I enjoy attending performances, whether it’s music, dance, or theatre, and as a trained Kathak dancer, I like to practice whenever I can.

I value one-on-one conversations and enjoy getting to know people, especially what inspires them, their experiences, and the way they think. I also enjoy hosting small groups and having people over, and occasionally turn to cooking as a way to slow down.
